ABC president Channing Dungey told The Hollywood Reporter the day after the premiere that continuing the revival beyond the original nine episodes was already a discussion, though everyone involved recognized the show could not return for a full 22-episode season. Tuesday night's premiere even managed to beat out the original show's series finale (which had 16.6 million viewers, for reference).

"Look at 'Roseanne!' I called her yesterday!"

ABC has picked up the "Roseanne" revival for another season, the network announced on Friday. "I mean, it's just unbelievable", she said. In a climate where TV reunions, particularly on the sitcom front, are a popular way to cut through the clutter, Barr's show did one better.

Others outside of the White House, however, were not as pleased with Barr's newfound success, especially considering her political opinions that she frequently promotes on social media, including recently promoting conspiracy theories about the Parkland shooting survivors.

Roseanne Barr was thrilled when President Donald Trump called to congratulate her on her monster ratings for her "Roseanne" reboot, which aired this week.

Commercial pilots claim UFO sighting over Arizona
A radio broadcast released later this month confirmed that the pilot said that something passed above them 30 seconds ago. The sightings occurred near the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, and about 100 miles from Luke Air Force Base.

During a Q&A session with television critics earlier this year, Barr said, "It was working-class people who elected Trump". "I't known him for many decades, and he's done a good deal of nice items for me personally ... it had been just an agreeable dialog regarding running and ratings and television". And she made some phone calls; we got me into a treatment center, and I detoxed there and decided I liked the feeling.

"We just kind of had a private conversation, but we talked about a lot of things and he's just happy for me".

'We talked about a lot of things. "I really do because I think we need to be more civilized than that". "Roseanne" is part of a broader strategy hatched by the network's executives soon after Trump's surprise win in 2016.

-"Roseanne" gave ABC its highest ratings for a scripted program this year, and second among all scripted series to NBC's "This Is Us" following the Super Bowl (26.97 million viewers), Variety said.
