Students formed a heart on the football field at Rockledge High School during the March 14 National School Walkout.

A landmark Supreme Court decision in 2008 in the case "District of Columbia v. Heller" ruled that the Second Amendment protects an individual's rights to bear arms, even for people unaffiliated with a militia.

The demonstration was organized by Chloe Deaton, a sophomore, and Anna Delaney, a junior, who are part of Rockledge High's Criminal Justice and Legal Studies Academy.

Around 75 Florida students staged a different kind of walkout on Friday than what has been seen on the national news of late.

"It is disappointing that a retired associate justice of the United States Supreme Court would support a measure that would effectively end our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms", said Tim Schmidt, Founder & President of the United States Concealed Carry Association.

VAR leaving players and fans in the dark, says England striker Vardy
That was Vardy's 10 goal in his last 15 starts for club and country and a striker in that sort of form is tricky to ignore. Ultimately though, that won't be a huge concern for Southgate after a productive global break.

According to Florida Today, the event lasted around 20 minutes before students headed back to class. Some wore Trump "Make America Great Again" hats and camouflage clothing.

During the years when Warren Burger was our chief justice, from 1969 to 1986, no judge, federal or state, as far as I am aware, expressed any doubt as to the limited coverage of that amendment. "I wanted to show that not all students feel that way".

In his New York Times op-ed Tuesday, Stevens noted that for the first 200 years of the Second Amendment's lifespan, it "was uniformly understood as not placing any limit on either federal or state authority to enact gun control legislation".

Larry King has an interesting tidbit for why the Second Amendment should be repealed - and it's got to do with what he says is the real reason it was created.to fight off slaves.
