Mass desertion has hit the Cameroon team representing the Central African country at the ongoing 2018 Commonwealth Games, in Gold Coast, Australia.

Nso said the rest of Team Cameroon - 34 in total, including basketballers and two other weightlifters - and their officials have already left Australia.

Three weightlifters and two boxers have not been seen since Tuesday, while another three have since gone missing, including boxer Christelle Ndiang, who disappeared after losing her bout to Australian Skye Nicholson on Tuesday.
