Saraki Meets Buhari Saraki Alleges Plot By IGP To Implicate Him
Sandy Mccarthy | 17 May, 2018, 10:12

Naija News recalls that Mr Idris has been having a running battle with the Senate under Mr Saraki, repeatedly refusing to honour summons by the senate and accusing its members of criminal behavior. Last night, a group of suspects that had been arrested in Kwara state for cultism and whose investigations had been completed, and were about to go under prosecution under state law under the advice of the DPP and Ministry of Justice.

Yusuf Habeeb of Kangile Village, Kulende, Ilorin and Umar Yahaya of Kangile Village, Kulende, Ilorin are also amongst the suspects arrested.

He explained that on May 11, the Kwara Police Command arrested six suspects for killing 11 persons.

The suspects admitted and confessed before the press and the public to have killed Eleven (11) innocent persons in kwara State and other States of the country.

They expressed fear that the move is similar to the ordeal meted to the embattled chairman, Senate Committee on Federal Capital Territory, Dino Melaye, who was transferred from Abuja to Kogi State by the police on charges bordering on illegal possession of firearms and gun running.

But the force said Saraki's allegation was aimed at diverting attention from the police investigation into a murder case.

"All of a sudden they have been ordered to be transferred to Abuja this morning".

That regular-season success wasn't enough for Casey to keep his job, though, and he was sacked after seven years on the job. After Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri fired Casey on Friday, he addressed media while fighting tears.

It is also important to underscore that the statement credited to the Senate President can dissuade and discourage living victims/deceased families of those who must have been killed by this vicious hired assassin gang from coming forward to give evidence against them.

He said according to the information available to the Governor, the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Idris Ibrahim directed the Commissioner of Police in Kwara State to immediately transfer the men to the force headquarters.

During the Senate plenary on Wednesday, Mr Saraki said he was informed by the governor of Kwara State, Abdulfatah Ahmed, that the police allegedly planned to use suspected cultists to implicate him and the state government.

"With the information that he has, they would find how to alter their statement already made in Ilorin and try and implicate the state government and particularly myself".

"The Nigeria Police Force is shocked at the unbelievable claims, unverifiable allegations and unfounded accusations being peddled against the IGP by the Senate President, accusing the Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim K. Idris, NPM, mni of plot and strategies against him to settle scores", Jimoh Moshood, the police spokesman, said on Wednesday.
