Sanders saidFBI Director Christopher Wray, National Intelligence Director Dan Coats and Justice Department official Edward O'Callaghan will meet with House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes and House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Trey Gowdy.
"To my knowledge, the Democrats have not requested that information, so I would refer you back to them on why they would consider themselves randomly invited to see something they've never asked to", Sanders said.
Nunes, an ardent Trump supporter and head of the House Intelligence Committee, has been demanding information on an FBI source in the Russian Federation investigation.
Caputo said he has told the House Intelligence and Senate Intelligence Committees about the offer, as well as the special counsel team led by Robert Mueller.
"It is scheduled to take place on Thursday of this week".
"But you can't be the one to fire him because we've got some weak-kneed Republicans out there who will come after you for firing the guy who needed firing", he recalled while holding a photo of himself whispering in Trump's ear last summer. Two Republican lawmakers, and no Democrats, are expected to attend a meeting scheduled for Thursday to review classified information relating to U.S. President Donald Trump's suggestion the Federal Bureau of Investigation might have used an informant to gather information on his 2016 election campaign, the White House said on Tuesday.
Mueller's office refused to comment.
The Justice Department had originally rejected the request from Nunes, saying his request for information "regarding a specific individual" could have severe consequences, including potential loss of human life.
"No one from the White House staff will attend", Sanders said.
The department said then that the White House had signed off on its letter, but Nunes wasn't satisfied, and continued to pressure DOJ officials.
Without substantiation, Trump tweeted in March 2017 that former President Barack Obama had conducted surveillance the previous October at Trump Tower, the NY skyscraper where Trump ran his campaign and transition and maintains a residence.

Schiff and other committee Democrats were furious and argued that Republicans had not subpoenaed many witnessed they considered essential to the committee's work.
