Marko Arnautovic insists he has "never heard anything" about a potential transfer away from West Ham, amid interest from Manchester United.

The Austrian had only joined the Premier League side at the start of last season for a fee of £24m but is reportedly a target for Jose Mourinho this summer. Arnautovic and Mourinho briefly worked together at Inter Milan before the striker moved to Werder Bremen.

The 29-year-old has blown hot and cold since moving to the Premier League and he is certainly not worth £60m.

He told Sky Sports: 'I am happy with my job. Whatever happens will happen.

"That's why I can not say anything about it".

"The only thing that bothers me is that I am in good health and that I am able to play football".

Arnautovic has been the subject of interest from Jose Mourinho in recent weeks as the Portuguese tactician was spotted scouting him on worldwide duty last week.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that West Ham United are determined to keep hold of the Austria worldwide this summer and have placed a mammoth price-tag on him to ward off interest from interested clubs.

'It's nice to hear, I haven't heard anything from my brother, my agent, ' he said.

"You can keep asking this question but you'll never hear the answer from me".

According to the same report, the east London club are bracing themselves for a bid from Manchester United for Arnautovic this summer but they are not prepared to let him leave on the cheap.
