Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey Blasted For Patronizing Chick-Fil-A

Marco Rubio stood up for Chick-fil-A after the CEO of Twitter was made to apologize for patronizing the fast food chain during gay Pride Month.

Dorsey tweeted an image of his 10 percent savings at a Los Angeles area Chick-fil-A.

One user was journalist Soledad O'Brien, a former CNN anchor, who also chose to add her two cents to the conversation.

Others also chimed in, with Dorsey offering a mea culpa in reply to O'Brien, saying he "completely forgot" about the company's background - a statement that didn't go over well with some conservative Christians, who also took to social media to weigh in.

Dorsey issued an apology for the purchase at the restaurant, telling O'Brien: "You're right". Wrote one user: "Their background". Cathy has since called his remarks a mistake, and reports say the fast-growing company has worked to broaden its brand image away from controversial issues as it has expanded into cities like NY and tried to cater more to millennials. An email to Square and Chick-fil-A were not immediately returned.

Rafael Nadal claims record-extending 11th French Open crown
The 32-year-old Spaniard was playing his 11th French Open final, while Thiem was featuring in his maiden Grand Slam final. That shock exit prompted speculation that Nadal was finished as a heavyweight of the sport. "Life is never clear".

"Why is Twitter boosting a notoriously anti-gay company during #PrideMonth?" another person wrote. "'Background' meaning they employ 41,000 people, many of whom are the most pleasant fast food employees in the country, serve delicious food at good prices, and at unbelievable speed?" You mean their late CEO being a Christian?

"It's a top notch fast food place".

Is this, as one commenter argued, a lot of fuss over "just a chicken sandwich"?

"What most people truly can't comprehend is that someone can disagree with your lifestyle and not devalue you as a human".

"Why is it because I live my life so gay, That I should not eat Chick-fil-A?"
