The WSJ reports Cohen's attorneys had been reviewing more than 3.7 million documents seized from Cohen, ahead of a Friday deadline set by Judge Kimba Wood of the Southern District of NY.

Donald Trump's longtime personal attorney Michael Cohen is "likely to cooperate with investigators" after the law firm representing him withdrew from the case, ABC News reports.

Roughly 3.7 million files were seized in the Cohen raid and are being reviewed to determine which ones may be subject to attorney-client privilege.

The same report cited Trump allies who claimed that Cohen's situation was "at least as ominous as the obstruction investigation", as far as the president is concerned.

The seized documents related to several matters, including Trump's payment to porn star Stephanie Clifford, who goes by Stormy Daniels.

Trump trade adviser apologises for insulting Trudeau
Trump just a week before the summit imposed 25% tariffs on steel and 10% tariffs on aluminum from the European Union and Canada . USA economic adviser Larry Kudlow said Trudeau "kind of stabbed us in the back" with his comments.

The unnamed source who spoke to the NYDN characterized Cohen as "very stressed out" about the possibility of an indictment.

According to the Journal, Cohen is looking for a federal criminal lawyer in NY, preferably one with close connections to the Manhattan U.S. attorney's office.

What Cohen decides to do going forward is important not only to his case, but to special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian election meddling and any ties to Trump associates.

"It's an attack on our country in a true sense". "That is really now on a whole new level of unfairness".

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of NY is investigating Cohen for various possible crimes, including potential bank fraud and campaign finance violations.
