The story of the film is set to revolve around a Chinese private security contractor who needs to help oil workers escape a sticky situation.

In case you've been living under a rock, Cena is quickly becoming a hot commodity in entertainment.

Cena is replacing Sylvester Stallone in the movie, which had been developed as "Ex-Baghdad". Once he discovers the terrorists' plot to steal the valuable commodity, Chan's character teams up with an American ex-Marine-played by Cena-to thwart the plan. According to a new report from TheWrap, he will be starring alongside martial arts and stunt legend Jackie Chan in a new thriller from Need for Speed director Scott Waugh.

Deadline.com says the Marine was fooled by the villains into thinking he was working to seize illegally-gained Chinese assets.

The working title of the film is "Project X", and Chan will also serve as a producer.

It will be interesting to see whether the innovative Chan asks Cena to display some of the moves and stunts he's learned in a WWE ring.

The above movie joins a list of films Cena now has in the works, including "The Janson Directive" for which he will team up with The Rock, and "Bumblebee", the "Transformers" spinoff movie being released on Christmas Day this year.
