Garmin has clearly made music a priority with its latest wearables.

Garmin has just announced the Vivoactive 3 Music, a wearable which is already available to order and essentially takes everything you'll find in the Garmin Vivoactive 3 and adds music to the mix. Other services, such as Spotify and Google Music, aren't supported, and there's no word on when (or even if) we can expect such support to launch.

The Vivoactive 3 Music has a pretty complete set of features: onboard storage for 500 songs, although they have to be sideloaded from a computer, much like the Fitbit Ionic and Versa; iHeartRadio and upcoming Deezer support for music synced from a phone; Garmin Pay contactless payments; Global Positioning System; and up to a seven-day battery life (5 hours with Global Positioning System on).

The almost 12-minute spot opens unassumingly enough with Ellie nonchalantly chatting it up with a friend. The two share a warm embrace and it's clear that they're more than friends.

The Garmin Vivoactive 3 debuted a year ago and impressed us with its responsive touchscreen, a strong Global Positioning System signal that quickly locks in your location, and the addition of mobile payments. Support for Deezer is coming soon, as well. Both earn their name thanks to the built-in storage for 500 songs that you can take with you on a run, no phone needed. You can also transfer music directly from your computer to the watch.

The Vivoactive 3 Music will set you back £299.99, making it an extra £20 for the luxury of music support over the Vivoactive 3. The non-music vivoactive 3 watch has dropped to $250. With onboard storage you can load up with music, it could very well become that device, too. The other big feature is battery life: it can last up to seven days in smartphone mode, and up to 5 hours when in Global Positioning System with music mode. That's 50 bucks higher than the current price of the "standard" Vivoactive 3, and the only apparent upgrade is a music player compatible with songs downloaded from streaming services like iHeartRadio.

Still, if you're into athletic activities, it's hard to compete against this bad boy at $300.
