Extremely disturbing video has emerged of a woman being removed from the belly of a seven-metre-long python in Indonesia.

The victim was a 54-year-old woman identified as Wa Tiba who had suddenly gone missing while tending her vegetable garden.

When her family went to look for her, they found only her belongings in the garden, including her sandals, a machete and a flashlight.

Numerous villagers jostle to take images and videos of the event.

According to her family, Wa Tiba wanted to check the plantation because wild boars often destroyed the crops, Tribunnews.com reported.

When they cut open the snakes belly they found Tibas body still intact with all her clothes.

A police spokesman added: "Residents were suspicious the snake swallowed the victim, so they killed it, then carried it out of the garden".

Seriously." Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders: "I'm trying to be serious, but I'm not going to have you yell out of turn". And I know it's hard for you to understand even short sentences, I guess, but please don't take my words out of context.

Videos posted online showed villagers cutting open the snake to find the woman's body inside.

Reticulated pythons grab onto their prey with dozens of sharp curved teeth and then squeeze it to death before swallowing it whole.

Faris said the victim's garden, about half a mile from her house, is located in a rocky area with caves and cliffs believed to contain many snakes.

Giant pythons, which can be up to 30ft long, are often found in Indonesia and the Philippines.

The python attack is the second in Indonesia since March 2017, when a 25-year-old man was swallowed whole.

Past year a farmer was killed by a python on the village of Salubiro on the island of Sulawesi.
