Digital Extremes' Warframe has had a great run so far on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, with over 38 million registered players. Warriors of blade and gun - masters of the Warframe armor. According to the Steam charts, Warframe is one of the top five free-to-play titles at the moment. Now, to push excellent into awesome, Digital Extremes has just announced a partnership with Panic Button to bring Warframe to Nintendo's latest hybrid console, leaving many eager players wondering just when Warframe will release for the Nintendo Switch. Panic Button has helped develop other titles for the Nintendo Switch, including Bethesda's Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Doom, and Psyonix's Rocket League. Those anxious about Warframe's transition to Switch should rest easy, as many have praised Panic Button's work with both Wolfenstein 2 and DOOM on the system. If you're planning to play the free-to-play game on Nintendo's latest console, you may want to hold off on starting an account for the time being.

As a reminder, Panic Button has been responsible for a number of Nintendo Switch ports.
