As reported by 9to5Mac, Kuo suggests that a slew of new Apple devices are slated to launch this fall, including a new 11-inch iPad Pro with Face ID as well as a complete refresh of the MacBook, MacBook Pro and iMac line. It features an Intel Iris Plus integrated graphics 655 paired with 128MB of eDRAM. Apple cites that the 8th-generation Intel Core processor in these laptops will be "ideal for manipulating large data sets, performing complex simulations, creating multi-track audio projects or doing advanced image processing or film editing". Both have more storage than before: the 15-inch model can go up to a 4 TB solid state drive, while the smaller model maxes out at 2 TB. Apple 15-inch MacBook Pro feature True Tone display. That said, previous Apple Watch models have had quite the thick frame around their displays, so if Apple manages to slim it down a bit, we're likely not looking at a device that will be noticeably bigger than its predecessors. It's included on both the actual display and the Touch Bar, too.

Along with the updated MacBook Pro 2018 models, Apple also introduced today new leather sleeves for MacBook Pro owners. Apple had said it was not a safety issue and had offered worldwide free replacement for such batteries. It also means that the MacBook Pro can support "Hey Siri" voice activation, rather than having to hit a shortcut key to summon the assistant. The company is making a couple of significant-ish changes to the MacBook Pro, while the existing design intact.

It's a welcome update, as the butterfly keyboards on the 2016 and 2017 MacBook Pros could deliver an unusually loud typing experience, which several users complained about.

Cook County Commissioner Jesús "Chuy" García called for the charges against Trybus to be elevated to a hate crime. She explains that Irizarry has a permit and she warns him that he could be arrested "for not being compliant".

An analyst says the new model's disappointing sales could lead to the phone being cancelled - with production stopping as soon as this summer. Apple was criticized by professionals for recent Mac upgrades, but it has since taken a renewed approach to professionals and has been praised for its newest announcements.

Otherwise, it's MacBook Pro as we have known it. Thunderbolt 3 via USB-C, support for up to two 5K displays or up to four external GPUs, and a sleek aluminum unibody design. Bumping up to a 2.6GHz processor, Radeon Pro 560X graphics, and 512GB of storage increases the price to $2799.
