Federal Bureau of Investigation agent Chase Bishop made his second court appearance after his gun discharged and shot a bar patron while he was doing a backflip last month, according to KDVR.

Bishop was charged with felony second-degree assault after an incident early the morning of June 2 at Mile High Spirits, 2201 Lawrence St., that began with a backflip on the dance floor. The footage also shows Bishop smile and shrug afterward.

A video showing Federal Bureau of Investigation agent Chase Bishop, 29, dancing at Mile High Spirits went viral in June. Trying to be slick about it, the off-duty Federal Bureau of Investigation agent tried to pick up his gun, which discharged and wounded 24-year Thomas Reddington in his leg.

Bishop, 30, had his Federal Bureau of Investigation badge with him when he went through security before court, and Goddard requested that Judge Fran Simonet modify an existing protection order to allow him to carry his gun both on- and off-duty. Prosecutors didn't object so Judge Fran Simonet said Bishop could be armed both on and off duty.

Chase Bishop is seen here in a mugshot provided by Denver Police Department.

"When the agent retrieved his handgun an unintended discharge occurred, another patron was struck by a bullet in the lower leg. The victim was transported to the hospital with a good prognosis".

Charles Oakley arrested in Las Vegas after allegedly cheating at casino
It's not known what game Oakley was playing at The Cosmopolitan, but TMZ reported the incident was captured on surveillance video. A security team subsequently reviewed video footage and determined he allegedly cheated, according to the report.

"It's freaky. It's beyond weird", Reddington told ABC News last month, describing the incident. I'm still thinking it's a firework, "he told ABC". "All of the sudden, from the knee down, became completely red".

"And that's when it clicked in my head, 'Oh, I've been shot".

Reddington, 24, said it took him a moment to realize he had been shot in the leg.

Bishop turned himself in on June 12th and the next day, a judge granted the lowest level of supervision, freeing him on a $1,000 bond and allowing him to return to Washington where he lives and works.

The Denver Post reports Federal Bureau of Investigation officials had refused to release the agent's name, even after he had been identified by several media outlets.
