Nigerian Afropop star Davido on Saturday performed at the Wireless Festival in the UK.

The "Scorpion" rapper actually made it on stage at the London event, performing an wonderful set list, filling in for DJ Khaled who had dropped out earlier in the day. In an unusual move, Wireless acknowledged in a Sunday tweet that festival organizers had known "for a few months" that Khaled's obligations to music competition television show The Four would force him to cancel, prompting allegations of false advertising and complaints from fans that Drake's short set shouldn't qualify as a replacement headliner.

Khaled has yet to explain what exactly forced him to axe the gig, but the travel problem didn't prevent him from sharing photos of his family on vacation in Mexico. First there was his "Still on vacation!" social media posts the pool, quickly followed by an official announcement from the festival. "You've really let us down and made me cry on my birthday".

Khaled then suggested he was en route to the U.K.by uploading another snap of himself and his fiancee, Nicole Tuck, sharing a champagne toast onboard a private jet.

Caroline Flack confirms SPLIT from fiancé Andrew Brady
As Caroline mentioned she has the Love Island villa to keep her busy and we 'll just have to wait and see what Andrew does next. I've never had that before - with anyone. "And, to be honest, I wasn't sure I had room in my life for anyone new".

The DJ's decision to pull out of performing is said to be down to get there, as Wireless tweeted he was caught up with 'travel issues'.

Drake at Wireless Festival 2018 was only a wishful rumour, especially after this video of Drake discussing Wireless resurfaced on Twitter, however, it officially become true for many happy fans on Sunday.

"Have some respect for your fans", wrote one follower.
