Well, a similar incident happened recently when a professor and political analyst was giving a TV interview when a munchkin intervened - not a kid, but a cat! Targlaski didn't miss a beat.

Perhaps it's the way the pet just climbs onto his shoulders like it's NBD. In an interview with Polish public broadcaster Telewizja Republika earlier this month, Lisio makes a more subtle appearance by sneaking behind Targalski for a nap. During the talk, Targlaski looks nearly unfazed by the cat on his shoulders.

The historian and political scientist was discussing the Polish Supreme Court on the news program "Nieuwsuur", when his cat, without warning, climbed up on Targalski's shoulders, curled himself around the academic's head and remained there. He patiently brushed off the cat's tail off his face everytime Lisio thought his owner needed a brushing. However, a small glimpse of the interview was used in a segment aired on Dutch TV channel NTR, seen below around the 3:56 mark. The producers did, however, include a shot of Targalski petting his feline.
