"All the thirteen Wild Boars are now out of the cave", the SEAL unit said on its Facebook page, adding all were safe.

The plight of the boys and their coach has drawn global attention since they became trapped when they went into the cave after soccer practice on June 23.

Chiang Rai province's acting governor, Narongsak Osatanakorn, who is in charge of the rescue, voiced confidence Monday in the ongoing operation, provided the weather doesn't take a turn for the worse.

Twelve boys, ages 11-17, and their 25-year-old coach hiked more than 2 miles into the labyrinth June 23, prompting a desperate search.

"The death of the former Thai Navy SEAL illustrates the difficulty of this rescue", Manning said.

Two more boys are rescued from the cave.

The footballers still awaiting rescue are about two kilometers further in, at a point very hard to access.

Musk has been tweeting about the rescue mission for the last few days.

"All five will be brought out at the same time today", said the head of the rescue mission, Narongsak Osottanakornon, on Tuesday. But officials waited several hours before confirming their rescue. Tuesday's operation began just after 10am.

Four boys and the coach are still trapped deep inside, and authorities have indicated they're continuing with their so-far successful effort to bring the boys out guided by experienced divers. "Everyone is in high spirits and is happy to get out".

London awaits Trump's visit, braces for protests
A giant six-metre-high blimp of Trump depicted as an orange baby in nappies is also expected to fly over the capital. Meanwhile, Theresa May's government is nervously anticipating disruption from the guest himself.

"I am very happy about those who already made it out and I think everyone will be out today", said Waranchit Karnkaew, 14, who also said the football-mad boys had been closely following games at the World Cup in Russian Federation before they were trapped.

Officials said all eight of the boys were healthy, though two of the four brought out Monday did have swollen lungs.

"The kids are footballers, are strong and have high immunity", Jesada said when asked why they survived so long.

Family members have seen at least some of the boys from behind a glass isolation barrier, and Jedsada said doctors may let the boys walk around their beds Tuesday.

"The first four boys' eyes are normal".

For more than a week, officials have been pumping millions of gallons of water out of the cave, trying to combat heavy rains on Sunday and Monday.

Graphics explaining how the divers managed to rescue the four boys have been circulating on social media.

Officials lavished praise on the Thai and worldwide divers who, in pairs of two, executed the risky rescue mission, guiding the boys, who could barely swim and had no diving experience, through a treacherous 4-kilometer-long (2 1/2-mile) escape route that twisted and turned through the cavern.

Musk on Tuesday visited the cave and posted pictures and videos online.

The Space-X and Tesla founder arrived in Thailand with a miniature "kid sized" submarine Monday.
