George Clooney Appears in First Photos Since Scooter Crash and Hospitalization

Julia Gonzales | 13 July, 2018, 06:53

Surveillance video shows that a split second before Clooney crashed, another scooter managed to dodge out of the way of the vehicle.

The photos, which you can see here from TMZ, are the first of the 57-year-old actor since a auto collided into him while he was riding a scooter on the Italian island of Sardinia on Tuesday, where he was filming a Hulu miniseries adaptation of Catch-22.

The couple smiled as they arrived on the tarmac on a golf cart.

His wife Amal - with whom he has one-year-old twins Ella and Alexander - rushed to his bedside once she was informed of the crash, before escorting him home.

CCTV footage showed Clooney's bodyguard, who was driving in front of the actor, avoided the auto. Clooney said he was going 54 miles per hour when the driver of a Mercedes cut in front of him and hit him head-on.

Italian police commander Giovanni Mannoni told CNN that Clooney didn't suffer any serious injuries, including broken bones.

In response to the ruling, Monsanto Vice President Scott Partridge said, "More than 800 scientific studies and reviews, the U.S. Roundup, made by United States giant Monsanto, is sprayed on gardens and parks and is used by farmers producing food crops.

Thankfully, a rep for Clooney told ET that while the actor was hospitalized after the incident, he's now on the mend.

The movie star is recovering at his rented home in Sardinia following the crash near Olbia, Italy on Tuesday, after he was briefly hospitalized, and now the plumber behind the wheel of the auto has opened up about the drama.

George Clooney was injured after getting into a motorbike accident in Sardinia, Italy. Clooney's helmet hit the windshield and broke due to the force of the impact.

It's unclear if George and Amal Clooney and their children left the island of Sardinia for their home in Italy on Lake Como or their home in the United States.

"It's good to be alive", he told a friend later in the day.
