A British citizen found guilty of attempting to arrange the assassination of Prime Minister Theresa may, reports Reuters.

Naa'imur Zakariyah Rahman, 20, planned to kill the prime minister but was halted by a joint undercover sting by the FBI, MI5 and Scotland Yard.

Rahman, originally from Walsall but most recently homeless in London, asked an undercover team for help with explosives for an attack and walked away with a fake bomb following an elaborate sting.

The defendant revealed his plans, saying: "I want to do a suicide bomb on Parliament".

Rahman earlier admitted a second charge of acting as a sponsor for another man who wanted to join Islamic State group fighters in Libya.

Imran was accused of planning to travel overseas, either to Libya or Syria, to engage in terrorism and was found guilty of having a terrorist handbook, The Guardian reported.

Imran was charged with planning to travel overseas, either to Libya or Syria, in order to engage in terrorism.

The jury had found Imran guilty after being in possession of a terrorist handbook, however, they are still considering whether to charge him or not for preparing to conduct terrorism overseas.

United Kingdom police identify suspects in Novichok poisoning, source says
Although police said there was no suggestion that the couple had been deliberately targeted, a murder investigation was launched. Investigators determined that Skripal and his daughter, Yulia, had been poisoned by the Russian-made nerve agent Novichok.

Officers became concerned about potentially extremist views after examining his mobile phone.

After Rohaman was killed in a drone strike in June Rahman looked for Isis contacts on Instagram and ended up contacting an undercover Federal Bureau of Investigation officer who passed him to MI5.

Rahman had been planning to carry out the attack for two years but his resolve was hardened when he heard that his uncle had been killed in a drone attack in 2017, Haydon added.

"There are lorries here with big gas tankers, if a brother can drive it next to Parliament I will bomb", said the 20-year-old from Birmingham, who had sworn allegiance to ISIS.

He later described using a suicide belt, a drone, an IED and poison, referred to as "P" or "curry mix".

Rahman discussed shooting the Prime Minister when she came out of Number 10 to speak to the nation.

The court heard that Rahman had come to the attention of British police in August previous year when he was arrested on suspicion of sending indecent images to underage girls, but was never charged.

"He told an undercover officer: "[God willing] will be very big if I'm successful.
