Trump says those criticizing his 'too nice' stance on Putin are hypocrites

Helsinki Summit Curveball Will Putin Play Along With Iran Fox host Cavuto shames Trump by airing clips of former presidents apologizing to show him how it’s done

The concern is not just the settled Democratic view that Putin views the president as an intelligence asset, but the hostility in principle towards better relations coming from senior Republicans. The next day, members of the group attacked counterprotesters, firing at least one shot from a pistol and brutally beating 20-year-old Deandre Harris in a parking garage, before a neo-Nazi named James Alex Fields drove his auto into a crowd of anti-racist demonstrators, killing a local paralegal named Heather Heyer and injuring 19 others. I have President Putin. He just said it's not Russian Federation.

"Say that again?" Coats asked the interviewer. "Sort of a double negative". If I was loud & vicious, I would have been criticized for being too tough.

"It was important to take that stand on behalf of the intelligence community and on behalf of the American people".

Trump had praised the proposal on Monday as an "incredible offer" and Sanders later described it as an "interesting idea" that was being discussed internally.

Putin pitched the idea that the US could question the 12 Russian military officials indicted for hacking into the Democratic presidential campaign. The White House did ultimately object to one proposal from Putin to hand over two Americans, including former U.S. Ambassador to Moscow Mike McFaul, for questioning.

"I should think that Secretary Pompeo and Secretary Mattis know by now what occurred", McKeon said.

He also reiterated denials of Russian meddling in the 2016 USA presidential election.

The White House on Wednesday indicated there was no recording of the one-on-one interaction between Trump and Putin, CNN reports. "Hopefully President Putin will have the 12 identified Russians come to the United States to prove their innocence or guilt".

The announcement of a second summit comes as United States officials have been mum on what, if anything, the two leaders agreed to in Helsinki during their more than two-hour one-on-one meeting, in which only translators were present. "So, certainly as the leader of a country you would have to hold him responsible, yes", Trump said. He was angry at the two American reporters, including one from The Associated Press, who asked questions at the Helsinki news conference.

Trump has since offered differing answers to the same question.

Trump says looks forward to second Putin meeting

Russian Federation is promising to keep Iran away from Israel's borders, but as Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats said Thursday there is reason to doubt whether they can deliver on that.

Sanders later said his comment was misinterpreted.

"We want very much to have a strong Russian Federation because a strong, competent, prosperous, stable Russian Federation is we think in the interest of the world", Clinton can be heard saying in the video. Susan Collins of ME said of Trump's one-word response.

Russian Embassy representatives visited Butina in Washington on Thursday, and said in a statement that she is in good health but "has difficulties in adapting to prison conditions".

But that clarifying remark was washed away Friday when the president took to Twitter to press the Fed to change course. "Tightening now hurts all that we have done", Trump tweeted.

Putin had his own walk-back.

Earlier on Monday, Trump had endorsed Putin's stance on Russia's non-involvement in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, insisting that he ran a clean campaign.

The notion of a $400 million donation to the Democrat's campaign would be out of the question.

Trump on Tuesday said he misspoke during the news conference. The watchdog site opensecrets.org shows Browder's NY financial partners, Ziff Brothers Investments giving only $17,700 for Clinton's election and less than $300,000 to the Democratic National Committee, as well as smaller amounts to other entities.
