Dallas Police Search Slain Man’s Apartment, Find Pot; Internet Fumes

Fox television in Dallas released a story about how police discovered a small amount of marijuana in Jean's apartment after he was murdered. The researchers called the convenience store focus a "micro-invalidation" in Brown's death, arguing "this report of him robbing a convenience store took precedent to the overall narrative of an unarmed young Black male being shot several times by a police officer".

Shortly after the news station was eviscerated on Twitter by people on both sides of the aisle, they changed their headline.

A family attorney, Lee Merritt, said a police search warrant request that asked permission to search Jean's apartment for drugs showed that investigators were looking for information that would "assassinate" Botham Jean's character.

Guyger is charged with manslaughter and is on administrative leave as the investigation continues. Jean then "confronted" Guyger "at the door", the document says, adding, "A neighbor stated he heard an exchange of words, immediately followed by at least two gunshots". Now lawyers for Jean's family are accusing police of trying to smear a dead man. The lengths the Dallas police going to in order to make sure that narrative fits Botham Jean are so over the top that it would be laughable if we weren't talking about an unspeakable tragedy. Jean "ignored" the commands, so Guyger fired her gun twice, striking Jean, the affidavit said.

Search warrants executed by investigators with the Dallas County District Attorney's Office are seeking data from the door locks of a police officer and the man she is accused of fatally wounding, according to published reports.

An arrest affidavit prepared by a Texas Ranger was released Monday, providing a narrative of what happened.

Huawei confirms to launch a foldable smartphone ‘within a year’
Now, the company has confirmed that it will launch a new foldable smartphone within a year. Richard Yu confirmed to Die Welt that Huawei was "already working on it".

Benjamin Croup, who's also representing the Jean family, agrees. "It did nothing else", Merritt said.

"They have reassured us that, despite the charge of manslaughter, which we believe is the inappropriate charge, that they are keeping all options open". She said she thought he was burglarizing her home.

The attorneys have questioned why police would have including searching for "narcotics" in the affidavit seeking to search the Jean's apartment.

That post may look bad, but the others on her account certainly eclipse it. "My son's life matters".

Merritt also demanded that Dallas Police Chief Renee Hall launch an internal investigation into who is leaking information that is assassinating Botham's character.
