In this first tweet since March 23, the "Friends" star wrote on Friday that he had completed a three-month stint in the hospital.

Matthew Perry has been in hospital for months following extensive surgery.

"Three months in a hospital bed".

Two others continued: "That's why you've been so quiet". And I said, "What do you mean unstick you?"

The former Friends star took to Twitter on Friday to reveal more about his recovery from a recent surgery, one month after his rep confirmed he underwent a procedure in a Los Angeles hospital to fix a gastrointestinal perforation. We missed you the past few months.

Another fan added, "Seriously, though, I have been looking for news about you for a while and haven't seen anything".

Woodward: I'll release tapes of book interviews if source asks me to
The book sold more than 750,000 copies on its first day of publication and broke Simon & Schuster's preorder sales record. Donald Trump himself has repeatedly lashed out at Woodward as well.

'He is grateful for the concern and asks for continued privacy as he heals'. I wish you a speedy recovery.

A gastrointestinal perforation or ruptured bowel occurs when a hole develops in the lining of the gastrointestinal tract and can be caused by illnesses such as Crohn's disease, colitis and appendicitis.

Symptoms include severe abdominal pain and emergency surgery is usually required.

Details on Perry's surgery are not known but he has been very open in the past about his struggles with alcohol abuse, which can contribute to a digestive health issue.

She told the magazine: 'He's screaming my name, and I go back into the living room and his hands... he was sitting on the couch with his hands on his legs, and he kept saying "You need to unstick me, you need to unstick me".

Perry found fame in the 1990s while starring as Chandler Bing in classic USA sitcom Friends. "Getting sober is a really hard thing to do".

Friends ended in 2004, but fans rejoiced when all 10 series were brought to Netflix in January.
