Since the success of Maleficent in 2014, the House of Mouse has been steadily moving along with all their live-action remakes, and luckily for us, they've all turned out pretty grand.

Yesterday (Oct. 10, ) Will Smith, who will play Genie in the film, shared our first look of the film on his social media pages.

Welcome to #TrailerChest, where we're taking a sneak peek at the brand new trailer for Aladdin.

Following the reveal of the poster for the live-action Aladdin film, its first trailer has just dropped. The magical blue wish-granter would become an iconic and greatly beloved character for both Williams and Disney... and now Will Smith needs to live up to that. While out in the land of the living, Genie helps Aladdin capture the attention (and later the heart) of Jasmine, the princess of Agrabah whose father, the Sultan, desperately wants to find her someone to marry.

Washington state abolishes death penalty
Among them was former Justice Faith Ireland, who sided with the narrow majority in upholding capital punishment in 2006. Of the 30 states in which capital punishment is still legal, there have been no executions in 16 of them since 1976.

The actor tickled fans' expectations when he shared a movie poster on the same day the first "Aladdin" teaser trailer went online on October 11.

The big difference here is that Aladdin is directed by Guy Ritchie, as in the guy behind Snatch (yay!) and King Arthur (boo!). And we have to say, it doesn't look too shabby.

For those working behind-the-scenes on the film, Disney has secured producer Dan Lin (Sherlock Holmes) and executive producer Jonathan Eirich to work with director Guy Ritchie on the project.

Aladdin rides his magic carpet into cinemas May 24, 2019 and TBH we can't wait.
