Dutta has accused Patekar of touching her inappropriately on the sets of a Bollywood film in 2008. Recently, Farah Khan posted a picture with Nana Patekar, and Tanushree said she should have shame for supporting an actor who has harassed her. The four persons have been booked under section 354 (molestation) and 509 (Word, gesture or act meant to insult the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code late on Wednesday night.

Tanushree's lawyer Nitin Satpute revealing details of the statement, in an interview, said that the complaint has been recorded in English rather than Marathi so that the information does not get distorted like it had happened the first time.

Back in 2008, Tanushree's father Tapan Kumar Dutta had filed an FIR when she allegedly underwent the ordeal and her auto was attacked while exiting the sets of "Horn Ok Pleasss".

However, on the fourth day of the shoot, Patekar's behaviour was inappropriate as he was grabbing her by the arms and pushing her around on the pretext of teaching her some steps, the complaint said. Besides the case study of the actress, the Facebook Live chat on the matter is also expected to spark some interesting debates on the lack of professional ethics, the legal action that needs to be taken by victims and survivors and at the same time, it will also deal with the flip side of this coin, that is, when women abuse this law for their own benefit with false claims. She added that on October 5, days after she spoke out again after a decade, she was publicly embarrassed by comments allegedly made by Siddiqui in a television interview.

Malaysia Moves Ahead on Effort to Abolish Death Penalty
The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) has called for a discussion on the death penalty, due to the high crime statistics in the country. The UN chief argued that legal representation or transparent criminal proceedings might have spared them from the death penalty.

She says that some political party workers started assaulting and damaging her auto while she and her family were trying to leave the venue.

The Oshiwara police are likely to record Ms. Dutta's statement on Wednesday, sources said. However, Nana Patekar and Vivek Agnihotri, who has also been accused of harassment by her, have filed defamation cases against Dutta.

Unable to concentrate, Dutta said, she contacted her parents and when they arrived, she left the studio in her vehicle.

After recording the statement, the police registered the offence late midnight, he said.
