The Fortnite Android Beta is now available on compatible devices

First of all, unlike Fortnite's iOS equivalent, the Android version of the game can not be downloaded through the Google Play Store. Instead, you need to download the game manually by visiting fortnite.com/android and sideload its installer application and scan a QR code provided by Epic. It's slightly annoying, but it's the only way to get Fortnite installed on your Android device. As long as you have a compatible device, you can download the game and start playing immediately.

Having played in on several devices I am told that the experience isn't as good as on a console but is good enough for gaming on the go.

While we'll have to wait until its available to see the kind of destruction the Quadcrasher can cause, we're betting that it's going to be very useful for ploughing through any structures that other players build. Unfortunately, until today, it's only been available for a select group of users, given that it's required a beta invite to play.
