A white couple in Georgia say they couldn't believe their black baby-sitter was followed by a woman who called police about him driving around with their two children.
Parker said that he wanted to give the woman the benefit of doubt, but that his children were having a good time with Lewis, and they were not in any apparent danger.
"There was only one thing that she saw that was out of place and that was kids of a different race than the person they were with", Mango insisted. He said the incident has made him think about similar racial profiling incidents that have occurred this year.
The officer briefly spoke with Lewis and asked to speak with the children as well.
The MailOnline reported that Lewis refused to let the woman speak to the young girl, resulting in her following him home and calling the police requesting a welfare check to be carried out. Just a few minutes later, police showed up and asked to talk to the kids. "In 2018, prejudiced people exist".
The incident is just the latest in a string of high-profile cases involving black people having to explain themselves to police officers after doing mundane public activities in what has come to be known as #LivingWhileBlack.

Corey Lewis told CBS46 that a white woman stopped him outside a Cobb County Walmart on Sunday and asked to speak with the children, ages 6 and 10, who he was watching.
The man, Corey Lewis, runs a youth mentoring program called Inspired By Lewis and was looking after the children of his friends Dana Mango and David Parker in Marietta, according to Yahoo Lifestyle. The police did not say whether they knew her identity.
Parker and his wife, Dana Mango, were at dinner when they received the call, and his wife had to be convinced that it was not a prank, he said. "It doesn't make sense in light of what happened. They weren't crying, they weren't distressed", she said.
Mango told Yahoo her kids "were both fearful that Corey wouldn't be able to babysit them anymore". "That's not a concern for the kids".
