During an emotional "last interview", Michael spoke about Noah's illness and the effect it had on the couple.

Michael Buble has announced plans to "retire" from the music industry after admitting he no longer has the desire for fame following his son's battle with cancer. Buble will be focusing on his family instead of his musical career.

The announcement came Saturday in an interview with Daily Mail Magazine.

He added, "I don't have the stomach for it anymore".

Michael Bublé has revealed he is retiring after giving his "last ever interview".

Referring to his new album which is due for release on November 16, the Grammy-winner said, "I'm retiring from the business. I don't know if I can get through this conversation without crying, and I've never lost control of my emotions in public", he said.

Excerpts of Pope Francis' Letter to Cardinal Wuerl
He said he acted with "diligence with concern for the victims and to prevent future acts of abuse". He held this position until he was appointed in May 2006 to head the Archdiocese of Washington.

Michael said that after his son's diagnosis his "perception of life" has totally changed.

"I'll never put the ego of the job ahead of my family.... I'd become desperate to hold onto something I thought I might be losing, and I thought I had to do something special to keep it".

He said he decided that he would never read his name again in print, or read a review, or use social media.

Understandably, he was in no place to make new music during this time.

"One, because I felt a debt of gratitude, deeper than I can explain, to the millions of people all over the world who prayed for us and showed us compassion", he said. We knew there was goodness out there - it gave us faith in humanity, to be really blunt.

The singer says Noah's cancer made it nearly impossible for him to go on, saying, "You just want to die". So naturally, we're devastated to find out that the man himself has just confirmed that he is officially giving up his music career. I've made the flawless record and now I can leave at the very top'. It still sucks. What we went through was the worst possible thing that you could hear as a parent, and as maybe a human being.
