In humiliation for Trump, satellite images show North Korea expanding missile base

North Korean sends top diplomat to key ally China North Korea's Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho leaves the airport after his arrival in Beijing China

According to CNN Wednesday, satellite imagery provided by the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, . shows North Korea has been expanding a key long-range missile base in Yeongjeo-dong.

While the base at Yeongjeo-dong has always been known to USA intelligence agencies and analysts, researchers at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey told CNN that the images reveal construction on a new facility just seven miles away from the older site that had not been previously publicly identified.

After a series of dubious talks, Trump claimed that he and Kim "fell in love" and that denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula would come "very, very quickly". The location of the missile bases means it is likely to be a launch site for North Korea's newest long-range missiles, including ones that can carry nuclear warheads, according to analysts who reviewed the images.

That means such activities were continuing even after the first North Korea-U.S. summit in Singapore in June.

Just a couple of days ago, Bethesda announced that they would be manufacturing replacement canvas bags, as originally advertised. After submitting the tickets, however, the information was passed on to other users thanks to a technical error.

The top diplomats were expected to exchange views on an apparent stalemate in the dialogue with Pyongyang, the possibility of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's Seoul visit and his second summit with US President Donald Trump.

Experts told the United States news network that the site´s location made it suitable to host North Korea´s newest long-range missiles, including ones that could carry nuclear warheads.

In a statement the Pentagon said: "We watch North Korea very closely but we can not discuss intelligence". Citing the report, the New York Times suggested that North Korea has been deceiving the USA since the Singapore summit.

But National Security Adviser John Bolton said Tuesday that there should be another summit with Kim. "Meeting Kim again only validates Kim's strategy of using Trump to play for time and sanctions relief, and keep North Korea on the pathway to becoming a de facto nuclear weapon state", Medeiros told The New York Times.
