Huawei's "Nova" series has seen some of the best selling devices courtesy of their decent specifications and good design at a mid-range price.

From the teaser image that Huawei released, it seems like the company will launch a new bezel-less smartphone next month. The promo image confirms that the device will be officially announced in China on December 17, one week after Samsung launches the Galaxy A8s. Both have the display camera hole in the same place, the upper-left corner of the display, for whatever reason. Instead of a notch, Huawei will use an in-screen camera technology with the lens placed in the top left corner.

Interestingly, Huawei has also announced that it will be launching a device, the Nova 4, that also features a punch-hole display on December 17 - a whole week after Samsung's launch. Based on the new user interface, the relevant content can be kept at the bottom half of the display, which can leave the top half for viewing tasks. More insights to the smartphone in the coming days will make it clear how good the device will really be.

It was the first time SpaceX ever failed to land a booster on solid ground, following a string of 12 straight successes. The newest residents will remain on board for six months, while the others will return to Earth on December 20.

Samsung teased the Galaxy A8s phone on Chinese social media platform Weibo revealing the screen design.

As usual, the Wi-Fi Alliance certificate for the Galaxy A8s doesn't reveal anything more apart from its Wi-Fi capabilities. A fingerprint scanner will sit on the back of this phone as well, and below it, you'll be able to see the company's branding, of course.

The device will run on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and be backed by a 3400mAh battery. Carrying a similar design, both the smartphones will sport a display hole for incorporating a selfie camera. So, even if it comes second, it will still have an advantage over the Galaxy A8s (expected to have a Snapdragon 710). The report says that the Galaxy A8s will boast a 6.3-inch FullHD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels.
