It's just a brief teaser trailer that doesn't even offer us a proper name for the new title.

We have been working on a new Dragon Age game for quite a while now and I am pleased to finally tease the existence of this project!

The teaser was shown during The Game Awards this evening after Bioware showed off a variety of new modes and systems available for their upcoming release, Anthem. The voice may be that of Solas, one of the main characters from Dragon Age: Inquisition. Called out as the Dread Wolf by Flemeth, the ending of Inquisition positions Solas as the next big bad, which in turn makes it very likely that another Dragon Age game is on the way with our old eleven frienemy at its center.

No details were provided in the announcement, besides the fact that a new Dragon Age game is now being actively developed.

Over the past few months, BioWare has essentially transformed into a single-game studio as it harnesses its teams to work on the ambitious multiplayer action game Anthem, sources say. "Now, I'm honored and excited to continue BioWare's rich legacy of colorful companions, romance and epic choices in my favorite fantasy franchise".
