"If you drink a lot of coffee, you might feel jittery, irritable or even nauseous".

"Coffee is the most commonly consumed stimulant in the world - it wakes us up, boosts our energy and helps us focus - but people are always asking 'How much caffeine is too much?'", explained study co-author Elina Hypponen.

These conclusions have led the researchers to believe that consuming a large quantity of coffee is linked to heart issues because of high blood pressure, which is a side effect of overdosing on caffeine.

Commenting on the most recent findings, Astrid Nehlig, research director at France's National Institute of Health and Medical Research, told The Sunday Times, "It is hard to calculate, but my feeling is that drinking coffee possibly adds another couple of years to your life".

According to the study of the UK Biobank data, the study explored the ability of the caffeine metabolizing gene with the number of 347,077 participants with the ages between 31 years and 73 years, to identify the risk of cardiovascular diseases coupled with the consumption of coffee and genetic variations.

The researchers analyzed previous studies from around the world that included information about people's coffee drinking habits and their causes of death, including cancer, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes.

So as to keep up a strong heart and a sound circulatory strain, people must restrain their coffee less than six glasses per day, analysts said.

This is the first run through a maximum point of confinement has been set on safe coffee usage and cardiovascular health, as indicated by the examination distributed in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

According to a new meta-analysis, drinking two cups of coffee daily can apparently increase one's life expectancy by up to two years!

The study's authors analyzed dietary patterns and health records of almost 350,000 participants between ages 37 and 73.

How Many Cups Of Good Brew Should You Indulge In Daily?

"In order to maintain a healthy heart and a healthy blood pressure, people must limit their coffees to fewer than six cups a day - based on our data six was the tipping point where caffeine started to negatively affect cardiovascular risk". Furthermore, the study also found that lowered mortality in connection with coffee consumption was more prevalent in Asia and Europe than in the US.

Previous studies have found multiple other benefits of drinking coffee, including reducing the risk of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
