UK: Theresa May to bring Brexit deal back to lawmakers in June

The Withdrawal Agreement Bill will be introduced in parliament in the week beginning 3 June - the same week as Donald Trump's state visit and a crucial by-election in Peterborough - leaving just three weeks to find a Commons majority on Brexit.

The House of Commons has rejected May's divorce deal three times but has, as yet, been unable to agree on an alternative path.

Brexit had been due to take place on March 29, but the deadline has since been extended to October 31 to buy the government more time to come up with a plan almost three years after British voters opted to leave the EU.

Mrs May was said to have made clear to the Labour leader that she wanted to bring cross-party discussions to a conclusion and "deliver on the referendum result".

"We will therefore be bringing forward the Withdrawal Agreement Bill in the week beginning the 3rd June", he added, noting that official talks are ongoing.

The British government has agreed it is "imperative" to ratify Britain's exit from the European Union before the summer break, setting out the clearest deadline so far for the embattled plan and the prime minister's possible departure.

"What she (May) is working to do is to get a deal passed as soon as possible", the spokesman said.

But her ministers discussed at a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday "the compromises the government was prepared to consider" and agreed to keep talking, May's spokesman said.

Last month , it was revealed that Rami Malek ( Bohemian Rhapsody ) would be taking up the post of the movie's central villain. Little is known about the forthcoming film but director Cary Fukunaga and producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G.

"We will come out of the Brexit break if there is something happening in London", European Commission spokesman Margaritis Schinas said. I can not imagine for one minute that Theresa May is going to want to go to the next Conservative Party conference in October and address it as leader. Keir Starmer and Tom Watson have estimated that up to 150 Labour MPs would refuse to vote for a Brexit deal that did not have another referendum attached.

And as Tory MPs warned the Prime Minister against an agreement that could split their party, Number 10 sources insisted the government would not sign up to the "permanent" customs union at the heart of Labour's Brexit policy.

The signatories include Gavin Williamson, who she sacked as defence secretary, as well as potential leadership contenders Boris Johnson and Dominic Raab.

To try to break the deadlock in parliament, May turned to Labour, led by Corbyn, a veteran socialist, but after weeks of talks they have failed to reach agreement.

A Labour Party spokeswoman said Mr Corbyn set out the shadow Cabinet's concerns about the Prime Minister's ability to deliver on any compromise agreement during the talks in Parliament on Tuesday evening.

"I talked to colleagues and some who voted for it last time now think it's dead and will vote against it this time".

Can't wait to see what happens in the UK's Brexit saga? It would be followed by negotiations on a new trade deal with the EU.
