The pop star's longtime manager Larry Rudolph gave TMZ an update on Spears, 37, who canceled her anticipated Las Vegas residency in January before seeking treatment at an all-encompassing wellness facility, which she left in April after a month. "We had to pull her show because her meds stopped working and she was distraught over her dad's illness", he said, according to TMZ. She was excited. She hasn't called me in months.

Rudolph previously told TMZ that based on her recent struggles, Spears has been forced to suspend all performances indefinitely.

"Kevin commends Britney for recognising that she needs to take a step back and that she's taking the reasonable steps to deal with her situation in a responsible way", Kevin's attorney said at the time.

As far as her music is concerned, Spears is still signed to RCA Records and "at some point, she'll record again", says Rudolph.

The former entertainment lawyer told Billboard that while it may've seemed like he was "implying that Britney will never work again", that wasn't his intention. I have no desire or ability to make her work again. I'm her manager. She calls me if and when she wants to work. "To me, it's about her finding her happy place", he added. And, if she ever does want to work again, I am here to tell her if it is a good idea or not, " he said. Other than that I'm not involved in anything else.

Rick and Morty Season 4 Gets Premiere Date on Adult Swim
It was announced last May that Adult Swim had given " Rick and Morty " a massive 70-episode order, which will bring the series to 101 episodes.

The Blast was able to look at court documents in the case and reported that under scrutiny will be all financial transactions, Britney's medical history including decisions made on her behalf, and her personal life.

Rudolph and a rep for Spears did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment. Her ex-husband Kevin Federline was among those who commended the singer for her efforts to seek treatment during a stressful time.

"[Britney] is the one whose focus is on on [getting better]". I look at her nearly like I look at my own daughter. The part that concerns me is that it has no factual basis.

On Friday, Britney left the court barefoot and is understood to have asked for more freedoms under the conservatorship, but the request was not granted during the closed hearing.

Some unconfirmed media reports, citing an unidentified tipster, claimed the singer was refusing to take medication that had been prescribed in the wake of her erratic behavior in 2007 and 2008. "It's not about a career anymore - it's about life". She's given so much.
