The tour was originally postponed after singer Mick Jagger announced he would be undergoing heart valve replacement surgery.

They'll be joined by two Juno-winning rock bands, Toronto quartet the Beaches and Kingston, Ont., natives the Glorious Sons.

He may be 75-years-old but his well-documented health and fitness regime is not out of line with that of an Olympic athlete a quarter of his age.

The tour, and the Stones Foxboro concert on June 8, was postponed back in March, after Jagger needed surgery.

The 75-year-old, who media reports said had undergone heart valve replacement surgery in NY earlier in the spring, showed fans he had regained his swagger on Wednesday, breaking into his well-known dance moves in a video shared on Twitter.

The band had also been scheduled to be the headlining act of Jazz Fest in New Orleans, for the 50th anniversary of Jazz Fest, but had to cancel that show.

The North American leg of the No Filter Tour will start on June 21 at Chicago's Soldier Field. No New York City dates have been announced at this time.

Tickets sold for the original dates will be honoured - fans do not need to exchange their tickets. Those who cannot attend the rescheduled concert can go to Ticketmaster to get a refund.
